One could call it providence, or may have been the constant endeavours from a brand that has so often described with the word ‘Pioneer’, Mercedes-Benz have registered themselves as the first ever automobile brand to launch a Facebook Messenger Chatbot for AMG.
In order to commemorate the 50th anniversary of AMG, Mercedes-Benz in collaboration with alivenow, an award winning digital agency and MEC, a media agency to create the Messenger Chatbot for AMG, which was rolled out earlier this week. Hundreds of exuberant social media users have already interacted with the Chatbot.
Amit Thete, General Manager for Marketing and CRM at Mercedes-Benz India spoke about the special occasion of AMG completing 50 years of excellence,“For AMG, we are always looking to bring out new innovations. With this AMG chatbot, we can say that we were able to translate the brand philosophy digitally while creating an interesting experience for our AMG fans across India. We invite all our fans out there to join us in celebrating ’50 years of driving performance’.”
Mercedes-Benz fans have the chance to show off their knowledge of their favourite brand by taking a quiz, taking the fans on a visual tour through the years in the history of AMG. Having developed their philosophy of ‘One Man, One Engine’ over the years, the AMG chatbot lives up to the philosophy by creating a custom video for each fan with their name in it.
Head of Business at alivenow, Mohammad Faiyaz Ali was ecstatic as he shared his thoughts about the partnership with Mercedes-Benz, “It was exciting to team up with Mercedes-Benz and MEC for this innovative messenger bot!
