Amazon India has not only rolled out an all out social media marketing strategy but has also decided to have some fun by leveraging Instagram and Instagram Stories to promote The Great Indian Sale.
Amazon India appears to be having some fun with their promotional strategy by relying on Instagram Stories’ ephemeral qualities that virtually eliminates dull and drab communication, and have also designed some engaging ways to interact with their audiences making their ads not feel like ads at all.
It applied to Amazon India too as they figured out a way to make their communication quick and fun, as they spun the bottle to highlight hundreds of products from many different categories that are up for grabs with huge discounts.
The company has shown their capability towards tailoring their messages and strategy to appeal to the Indian buyers’ mind with previous large scale campaigns such as ‘Aur Dikhao’ and have shown remarkable flexibility by deploying Instagram Stories as one of their promotional channels. Not many multinational corporations prefer such youth oriented digital platforms, although many are learning.
