Brands pay their final respects to Kapil Mohan with creativity through their social media handles.

Sadly, Kapil Mohan, the man who gave us the iconic rum, Old Monk passed away at the age of 88 years due to cardiac arrest at his home in Ghaziabad. Ever since the news came out, Twitterati have been mourning his demise.

According to reports, Mohan was a teetotaler, but successfully managed to build a brand which is loved by people across the strata. The drink has been a companion to many and has played  a huge role in the growing up of every rum lover. If you were running low in cash, had a heartbreak or wanted to get some respite from the chilling winters, Old Monk has been the answer to all the problem.

Reportedly, the brand never advertised, but still had a huge fan following not only in India, but across the world. On his demise, brands, mainly online content platforms like The Viral Fever,  Arre, AIB, The Timeliners and others, were also seen paying a tribute to Mohan with witty creatives and posts.
