To put it simply, that means you can click pictures with friends and family anywhere in the world no matter how many miles apart you actually are.

Flochat also lets you access all your other daily apps like Zomato, Ola/Uber, BookMyShow, YouTube, Bing – all while being able to chat with your family and friends 24/7.

We at Flochat believe that the ‘Flo’ of conversations should never break and hence we have built an ecosystem that not only enables smart and quick communication but also a highly personalized experience. With ‘Teleport’ we want to do away with physical limitations and allow people to connect and create memories no matter where they are through a simple picture. This is the first time ever that such technology has been patented in the world.

While this patented technology can be used to bring loved ones together, ‘Teleport’ also has great potential for influencers and celebrities to use this to build conversations and engage with fans from around the world. Flochat plans to take the technology even further and introduce augmented reality features for both photography and video in the future, so watch this space!

Prateek Founded FloChat two years back with a vision of using technology to change the way we communicate and create a dent in the Instant Messaging space. This vision has constantly been validated by the largest players in the industry following this thought process from time to time. FloChat was the first Instant messenger to re-look at the communication space despite the hugely competitive and difficult market landscape it belongs too. As the CEO Prateek leads the Execution and Strategic Vision for the Product.

Before Flo, Prateek has worked in the Banking and Financial Sector with leading MNCs where he was part of the internal Talent Pool allowing him to work closely on various Strategic initiatives with a focus a on New Technology, Innovation & Mobile.

We bring a never-seen before feature to our customers which let’s them be around the ones they love even when they’re far away. Keeping evolution as a key in our minds we built a multi-functional chat platform which we hope will simplify your most common daily habit – Chatting. Flo embeds leading service & content providers across verticals & delivers a seamless personalized Chat, Challenge & Teleport experience to its users without ever breaking the flow of conversations.

What’s in a name?

We don’t ever want to break the “flo” of conversations and content consumption and hence the name “Flochat”

How do we see Social Media?

Social Media helps people stay in touch with each other and helps them keep in touch with current affairs from around the world thus in some way, making the world a smaller place. That’s essentially what we’re trying to do with our app.

Currently we are….

We started off with a small team of about 5 people and three months in had about 5,000 Downloads. Now we’ve expanded to a team of 30 people and we’ve got about 500,000 Downloads.

Our biggest challenge was..

Creating a network effect for users getting their friends and friends of friends on the application so they have someone they know on the app when they download it.

We want to dominate the world by..

Changing the way people take pictures and videos. That’s why we introduced Teleport which was a unique feature that had never been seen anywhere in the world.

We’re making moolah by…

We offer services like Ola, Uber, Zomato, BookMyShow and make a commission on every transaction made through our app. We are also keen on connecting brands and influencers with people on our platform.

Our What The **** Moment

We have one such moment three times a day, everyday but our biggest one happened about a year ago when we introduced a program called Wishlist to get users on the app and weren’t prepared when 2 Lakh people came on the app within three days.

Industry as we foresee

The industry is progressing rapidly and we hope to be the pioneers for the coming change by introducing the micro-app concept which should blow up in the near future.
