Viacom 18 Motion Pictures has partnered with DigiOsmosis for digital marketing of their upcoming movie ‘Manto’ starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
Manto was nominated in the recently concluded Cannes Film Festival in the Un Certain Regards category. The whole cast and crew went to attend the premiere at the festival.
The Digital Marketing kick started at the Cannes Film Festival wherein a day before the screening of the film, the teaser was launched on Facebook via a Live session with the media in India.
The cast Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Tahir Raj Bhasin, and the director of the film Nandita Das interacted with the media in Mumbai straight from Cannes in a one of its kind new LIVE technology in association with Facebook and PVR Cinemas.
The teaser was very well received on digital garnering more than 5 million views.
On partnering with Digi Osmosis, Rudrarup Datta, Marketing Head, Viacom18 Motion Pictures, said “For a content rich film like Manto, we wanted someone who has hands-on understanding of content and the digital marketing space and Digi Osmosis fit the bill.
