August 19 is celebrated as World Photography Day and while we are all always on our phone cameras capturing some exuberant sightings through it’s lense everyday, a day dedicated to the art adds much more value to it.

It’s that time of the year again when hues of sepia, grey and white will fill our desktop and mobile screens representing the visuals that are breathtakingly beautiful. It’s said that pictures speak more than words and on this very day artists try to spell a thousand words through their photography narrating different stories.

A notable American photographer, David Alan Harvey lives by the philosophy that “Don’t shoot what it looks like. Shoot what it feels like.” The World Photography Day celebration imbibes this thought of able photographers across the world and marks the recognition of their art, passion and work which inspires them to capture beauty through their camera lenses.
