Durex India has commenced a new campaign following the decriminalization of Section 377, influenced by Bollywood and TV series to give it a touch of familiarity.

Decriminalization of Section 377 has inspired brands to conceptualize it and use it for reconnecting with their TGs, and Durex too has joined the bandwagon now.

Brands are not obligated to influence societal changes but if you’d use that factor for one’s own profit, might as well fulfil the moral duty of a citizen to replace outdated laws while you’re using your voice that has a reach, which you’d squander a great deal of money for. Durex had all the more reasons to do so because the community was and is a part of their target market.

The brand has however been creative and witty with their new advertisements whilst using the new societal change to the brighter side.
