Orient Bell Limited is proud to welcome Alok Agarwal and Pinaki Nandy as Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Sales Officer respectively to its leadership team.

Looking to bring a fresh and modern approach to traditional marketing efforts of the tile industry, Alok and Pinaki bring a cumulative cross-industry experience of over four and a half decades to Orient Bell Limited. With their exposure to international best practices, as well as marque multinationals across industries, brands, and start-ups, both are looking to usher in a new vision and agility for Orient Bell Limited.

Alok is a marketing veteran who has built brands across India and abroad, and was recognized as the Digital Marketer of the year (Consumer Packaged Goods Category) by the Internet & Mobile Association of India in 2017. An IIT Bombay & IIM Bangalore alumnus with two decades of experience, he has built brands across the globe, led new product development, evangelized digital marketing, and created shopper marketing solutions for retail outlets. His career has seen him in marketing roles at Unilever, GSK Consumer Healthcare, Saralee, AsiaPac and Ebay India in his early years. In his last assignment at GSK, he was seen using consumer insight and analytics to set brand strategy for mega brands like Horlicks and Sensodyne. He led digital marketing and was the driving force behind award winning campaigns.

As Chief Sales Officer at Orient Bell Limited, Pinaki brings over twenty-three years of a career spanning the FMCG, Telecom, and Building Material industries. In his last role with AkzoNobel, Pinaki was responsible for Philippines and Bangladesh, and successfully executed their market entry strategy for the Philippines. He has also previously held assignments with Vodafone and Cadbury, launched start-up business verticals and executed new Go to Market strategies in established markets.

The appointment of Alok and Pinaki is in line with recent rebranding efforts with which Orient Bell Limited wishes to usher in a new change and direction for one of India’s leading tile and ceramic companies. After having patented and pioneered many firsts for the industry, the company now wishes to disrupt marketing and sales for the industry.
