Indigo Consulting announces elevations in leadership team

These promotions are in tandem to focussing on new avenues to drive exponential business value for Indigo Consulting’s customers.

The Publicis Groupe company elevated Saurabh Mankhand, Sumitra Sarkar and Prashant Tekwani to Senior Vice Presidents.

Indigo’s execution of its key account strategy will see an impetus with operations in the three offices of the company in Mumbai, Gurgaon, and Bengaluru being consolidated with these three leaders for all go-to-market activities–Saurabh for West, based out of Mumbai; Sumitra for South and based out of Bengaluru, and Prashant for North & East regions, based out of Gurgaon.

Speaking about the elevations, Rajesh Ghatge, CEO Indigo Consulting said, “Over the last few years, Indigo Consulting has seen some fantastic momentum and growth. On the back of tremendous value being delivered on all dimensions of digital, we have won marketing mandates and transformation projects across domains and continue to deliver on their dynamic business requirements.

Our growth is powered by the organic growth of our marketing AORs and the launch of specialised services in content production, UX, insights, and analytics through our Centres of Excellence. We have also gotten significant traction from the five key practices in Core Application Modernisation, DevOps, Enterprise CMS (AEM, Sitecore, Drupal, and Sitefinity), Omni-Channel Loyalty Program and SEO, that were launched to help our clients in their digital transformation road map.

They have done this while maintaining an amazing streak at winning new mandates from large enterprise brands as well as some global Fortune 100 brands. Their pivotal role in the execution of Publicis Groupe’s ‘Power of One’ philosophy for Indigo Consulting has bolstered the company’s position as an integrated digital partner. Empowering them to take on a larger mandate was inevitable. The three newly

their business units and teams.

Saurabh Mankhand joined Indigo Consulting in 2016, and today boasts of an advertising career straddling over 18 years.

Speaking about his elevation, Saurabh says, “My focus is to partner key brands in building an end-to-end digital ecosystem. The goal has been, and always will be, to partner customers in their decision-making journey to co-create high-value business impact. Right from ensuring nimble operations to keeping up with consumers’ digital demands, I look forward to being a part of some exciting and rewarding times at Indigo Consulting.”

Added Sumitra Sarkar, “My attention is on the southern markets where I will drive Indigo Consulting’s complete digital marketing as well as the digital business transformation agenda. Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai are home to some unicorns and tech-first companies. The untapped opportunities in the start-up ecosystem excite me to no end.”

Sumitra joined Indigo Consulting in 2017 where she has led key accounts like Google, YouTube, Garnier and Ola.

Prashant Tekwani’s decade-long experience covers advertising for key brands such as Home Credit, Citibank, Hindware, etc.

Speaking about his new role, Prashant said, “I believe this is the best time to leverage the tremendous momentum Indigo Consulting is seeing. My new role and responsibilities will see me deep-dive further into the digital marketing and transformation agenda for key brands in the north and east markets. These markets are brimming with potential and I look forward to driving a significant amount of the business back home to Indigo Consulting.”
