Who is WhiteSparrow?

WhiteSparrow India is a digital services agency established in 2013 and based in Chandigarh. We are a group of young, creative individuals handling a variety of portfolios, and working as one close-knitted and happy family.

What’s in the name?

WhiteSparrow is an idea and a philosophy. Birds were a medium of communication in the good old days. Plus, sparrows are just reminiscent of a simpler time; we don’t see them anymore.

What do we do?

We specialize in digital content creation, working effectively in the field of social media marketing. We also offer services in Google Adwords, graphics, photography, and brand consultancy. In a nutshell, we are an end-to-end brand and marketing solutions provider.

Why we do it?

There is always a gap in every market. But, we got our start for the love of creativity. We focus strongly on quality work in the field of creative digital solutions.

How we evolved?

Everything is so fast-paced and everybody has little patience. The idea is to disperse maximum information in minimum time through a minimal space.

While videos will become shorter and vectors will become cleaner, the information shared through them will become even more concise, direct, and eye-catching.

The need of the hour.

The current landscape severely lacks a system to verify if the information shared is authentic. There are fraudulent elements in every line of work. Awareness is one way to go but still, there are shortcomings.

We learned the hard way.

For every client, ROI is important. The day you stop delivering on it, you are in danger. Unfortunately, clients believe that branding and marketing will contribute to direct and instant conversion in sales or an increase in business, which in reality may not be the case always.

Did we just share that?

We were pitching to someone who eventually ended up as a client.

He had thought that we were going to pay him to use his name in some form of campaign for some other client. He asked about the quantifiable benefits of the work we do for his social media.

We explained how it may not definitely convert into sales numbers, but is important for visibility, etc. Later, we met again and he appreciated the post we had put up relating to the Mutton Rogan Josh served at his restaurant, stating that the sales of the dish have doubled in the last month.

We have been fortunate to have had good clients stick with us for a long time. Some of these are Hotel Aroma, Punjab Police, Verka Milkfed, SOHNA Markfed, Phulkari, Chandigarh Group of Colleges/Chandigarh University, J.W Marriott, Hotel Hyatt, Rookies Jeans and many more.

The industry as we foresee.

Social media in India is becoming a lot more aggressive, but also cleaner. Mushrooming of bloggers and pseudo-influencers will go down. But from a business standpoint, it’s becoming cut-throat with each passing day.

So quality will improve and it will also mean better pricing for the consumer. At the same time, companies will have to learn how to bring their expenses down to remain viable. Medium-sized companies will face the most difficult as small companies will play on pricing and big companies will flourish due to stature and quality.

A day without the internet.

It’s important to disconnect and keep the eyes away from a screen. We use our systems only for execution – our work is mostly offline in terms of brainstorming and ideation.
