Instagram launches profile shop link for stories
In an attempt to make Instagram more e-commerce friendly, the platform added a new feature allowing users to add a profile shop link to their stories.
Instagram now allows users to add a profile shop link to their stories in which they can tag the displayed products within their stories.
A user can add a swipe-up link of their profile shop to their story, through which all of their linked products can be viewed. Like IGTV posts, viewers of the story can also search through the user’s profile content.
With swipe up “view shop” link in a story, you can check the products displayed in the story along with their prices.
