How do we define Superfan?

We
are a Fan Data & Engagement Platform. Using a combination of Technology,
Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality & Automation, we help brands drive
engagement as well as win awards for always using the latest in technology

We were founded in 2016. Our team of 14 includes a mix of AR Specialist, Technology mavens, and creative & business professionals

Our job is to always answer “What’s new” in every meeting that we end up being in.

What's
in the name?

Superfan literally means those amazing loyal fans of the brand. We have been Super Fans of all our clients, and they have been fans of us.

What do we do?

Superfan.ai: Our flagship platform Superfan.ai, helps brand identity who their top fans are collective across social platforms. We are able to identify fans across two major categories, those who drive engagement and those who drive revenue. With data like this, it helps brands optimize their spends driving down the TCO.

Superfan Studios: Our services arm build AR filters & Lenses across platforms like Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, WebAR & Unity. It also runs Twitter & Facebook’s automated campaigns like bots, instant replies, like/comment for reminders, etc.

We have been preferred partners for Twitter
& Facebook to help drive innovations on the platform. Superfan was featured
on Mark Zuckerberg’s (Founder CEO of FB) keynote during F8 in May 2019 as the
company that has helped in growth & adaption of AR experiences not just in
India, but around Asia

Superfan is also the first Creative Partner for Snapchat in India & has been behind the hugely popular Gateway of India Spotify AR lens.

Why we do it?

We love when our clients win awards. That’s one thing that keeps driving us. We are a bunch of folks, who are passionate about technology and who love to run the prime-time campaign on anything that either in Beta or Alpha release cycles. We are able to help our customers get a taste of tech, even before it has been officially released, thus prepping them up for the future

How
we evolve?

We are in the business of answering “What’s new?”. We work very closely with our partners and help test out new features for them. This helps us to learn new things, even before there’s an official FAQ around it. It’s our partnership with tech-based social platforms, which helps us evolve, as and when they evolve too.

For eg: We have deployed a couple of AR Ad campaigns for Facebook for clients in India.

The need of the hour

Just like BARC measures TV ratings, there should be a way to measure everything on the internet.   

We learned the hard way

To
walk away from Bidding wars for projects & drop the quality of final
deliveries. We have learned to stick to our strengths and let go of projects
that do not require our expertise

Did we just share that?

A client that we worked in the past, build AR lenses from a different company, however, attributed it to the US in their PR. Probably because we had built a lot of Augmented experiences for them.

The industry as we foresee

We
believe every single image or point of interest across the world will soon come
alive cause of AR. We also see, VR going mainstream in the next 8-10 years,
with better wearables.
