Samsung has rolled out a new voice-activated print ad to demonstrate the AI capabilities of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, bringing personalisation to the forefront of traditional media. The initiative, developed by Cheil India, reimagines static print for a digital-first, social-savvy audience, inviting readers into a customisable narrative powered by user voice input.
Published in national newspapers, the ad invites readers to scan a QR code that opens an interactive voice-led experience. Users can speak to the interface and steer the story as it unfolds, choosing paths, exploring features, and engaging with content in real time. The print activation positions the Galaxy S25 Ultra as a true AI companion, with the ad itself acting as a gateway into a narrative journey featuring two friends and an unexpected guest navigating six unique moments.
At the heart of the experience are Galaxy AI and Google’s Gemini Live. While Galaxy AI enhances core functions such as camera performance—optimizing colours, details, and low-light photography—Gemini Live enables real-time conversational interaction.
The campaign moves beyond traditional augmented reality or static visuals, using voice to deliver an immersive, decision-based format within a printed page. Following previous efforts like the Circle-to-Search AR print, this version leans into interactivity as a bridge between tactile and digital touchpoints.
By turning a conventional print page into a dynamic, dialogue-driven surface, Samsung underscores how personalization and AI-led storytelling could shape the future of print in a social, conversational world.
