Who are we?
We are a digital firm based out of Mumbai, started by a couple of over-ambitious, caffeine-addicted Undergrad students in their final year at NMIMS. We don’t call ourselves anything fancy like brand evangelists or anything embarrassing like social media queens. We like to keep it simple. We build brands.
At AdHog, we don’t start campaigns. We start conversations.
What’s in the name?
We came up with the name ‘AdHog’ because that’s literally what we want to do. We are very ambitious and we want to hog the digital arena.
P.S. You know you’re talking to a firm in the marketing industry when they have a wacky name.

Honestly, these are semantics that people in the industry like to throw around to seem like they know what they’re doing. We do whatever we need to do to build brands and exceed client expectations.
That means, we are constantly pushing ourselves to think, think, think and honing our execution capabilities. This culture keeps us on our toes, and ensures we are not just the bullet point list of services we currently offer.
We generate content and strategies that are original, visually appealing and backed by strong analytics. We help brands script their own language.
Why we do it?
We’re 20. We’ve grown up being consumers of this space. We understand, almost intuitively, what jumps out on the news feed what makes one click an ad or what makes one re-pin.
The constraints are many, the opportunities endless. Between the mundane 800*800s and the luminous awards, there is potential for sheer brilliance, especially in a country as dynamic as ours. We’re just waiting for the larger Indian audience to join the online community. The unknowns are what motivate us. Also, Type A++ personalities that we are, we thrive on the pressures of creating timeless content in a timely manner.
How we evolve?
We are a team of voracious readers and problem solvers. Most importantly, we are unafraid of change. We welcome change with bear hugs.
We believe in the power of ideas, and having an open work culture stimulates just that. We don’t have a hierarchy or stuffy cabins. We believe in honest discussions, giving genuine criticism and appreciation to everyone on board. We keep track of not just the digital marketing industry, but advertising, tech and design. We evolve by using our peripheral vision to its fullest, and take the time to understand the macro and micro implication of even a nano change in these spaces.
Social responsibility in social media
Ideas, honesty, integrity, transparency should be a key part of any business undertaking. And neither needs a million dollars, a contract set in stone or large networks. Responsibility to your people and your clients should be an inherent way in your manner of working, should it not?
Need of the hour
Social networking laws are not properly drafted yet. Things we consider that need to be taken care of from our experience.
We learned the hard way
We’re a company that always emphasizes on quality over quantity. We had to turn down a really big contract with a global software giant because we were under-staffed at that time, and we never compromise on the quality of our effort. Learning from that experience, we now have a team big enough to take on any opportunities which come to us and we’re also aggressively hiring at the same time.
Did we just share that?
It’s okay to say a strict No to some ideas that the eager client has. You don’t have to please them every time by saying yes to all their ideas. More often than not, holding your ground pays off.

Industry as we foresee
We expect the industry to boom in the next 2 years. Brands are going beyond just wanting to be on social media to wanting to do something meaningful. This is the best time for us to be here.
