Vijay Sales, India's leading retail electronic store with 52 stores spread across North and West. To mark their crossing of 100k fans on Facebook, they wanted to do something special. Though the aim was to celebrate, Vijay Sales wanted to mirror the essence of the brand through the campaign.

The idea was to thank 100k fans, 100k times, live and continuous - a feat never attempted before in India and to live stream the whole event.

The target was to complete it in 10 hours.


A countdown timer was placed on the specially created facebook tab which was to feature the live stream on the day of the event.

The Facebook tab featured the LIVE video on the day of the event. Users commented on the tab itself expressing their opinions and appreciations.


675 tweets in total generated 6,52,679 Impressions on twitter over a period 9 hours and 15 minutes.

7391 users were reached on Facebook without Ad spent.
