About the tool!
PromoFactory™ is a simple tool that allows you to start a contest, sweepstake or a promotion, at the click of a button, and takes only as much as you would to finish your coffee.
Who founded the product/company?
KRDS founded PromoFactory™ right after Facebook’s recent relaxation of its restrictions on promotions.KRDS is a leading Social Media Agency in Europe and Asia. It has been part of Facebook’s Preferred Marketing Developer Programme since its launch in Europe in 2010.
What platforms does it cover?
PromoFactory™ is built on the Facebook Platform, and allows Page Admins to launch, manage and collect entries from Facebook Page Timeline contests and promotions.
Features of the tool
- Choose the type of contest you want to run.
- Suggest the ideal mechanics for the contest (Likes / Comments / Messages / Posts).
- Select the start and end time of the contest.
- Select the contest winners.
- Automatically create and launch the Terms and Conditions page.
- Provide analytics based on participation.
- Provide overall insights for all contests.
- Generate report in XLS or CSV format.
What analytics support does the tool provide?
Number of Likes, Comments and Posts attributed to the promotion / contest, overall valid participants, and engagement metrics as opposed to similar contests or promotions.
Does it give an option to download reports?
Yes. In XLS / CSV format.
What kind of sentiment analysis does it do and how accurate is it?
It’s a promotions and contests tool. Therefore, its primary objective is to collect valid entries, and the need for sentiment analysis doesn’t arise.
What’s the algorithm for sentiment analysis?
As described above.
What are the brands/agencies that are using this tool?
The tool is yet to be launched, and therefore won’t be able to list brands and agencies as yet. KRDS of course has worked with over 300 brands and 50 agencies so far. With the announcement of PromoFactory™ with our existing clients, almost all leading agencies have already expressed interest.

He has worked on the features, the UX, and is handling the business strategy/pricing. Even if he is mainly focused on expanding the Singapore office, Venkky will continue to collaborate at every stage of PromoFactory™.
Gaël Prudhomme: Product Manager
Gaël has achieved success with the development of KRDS’ Moderation Kit, improving day by day his experience in product development and in UX. He is in-charge of the production of PromoFactory™.
William Claude: Technical Leader
William is a great full-stack developer, able to organize the architecture of a big project and get it done. He is in-charge of the architecture and the development of PromoFactory™.
