About the Platform
TrulyMadly is a matchmaking service that brings together a proprietary social algorithm for compatibility and a stringent verification process to help singles find their true match. TrulyMadly is a subscription based service and we’ve gamified the payment process so members can earn credits to use on the site. We’ll soon be launching our mobile app and this will be the mainstay of the business.
Whom do we cater to?
We cater to the independent-minded single, who is look for a meaningful relationship, beyond the confines of caste and creed.
What do we offer to our consumers?
The two pillars of our offering are verification and compatibility. Fake profiles are a big issue with most dating and matrimonial websites today and our robust process will weed out the fake and display only verified profiles on the site. In the real world, what this means is that if a Shreiya considers meeting a Rishi, the extent of verified details to be found on the site include -each other’s phone number, identity, professional profile, friend circle and daily activity.
For the carefully treading, it is a boost of confidence in the right direction before establishing any physical contact. The other significant offering is that the site matches profiles based on who they are, what they are looking for, their interests and profile, instead of the traditional matches based on caste or location.
The third, not so obvious yet well-integrated, offering is that we are putting the choice back into the hands of the person at the helm of affairs.
What motivated us to start up?
In India, when the son or daughter is marriage-ready, you launch them at the next big family wedding, spread the word to your neighborhood aunty or sign up on an online matchmaking website. Hitesh faced the twisted truths and oddities of online matchmaking first-hand, while scouting a groom for his sister-in-law.
Sachin and Rahul had abundant friend and family stories between the two to add the voice of reason to launch a matchmaking website with a thought, reason and emotion, sans the kinks of caste and creed. Thus came about TrulyMadly, a way to find a compatible, genuine partner , leading to strong relationships instead of skirting around dim alleyways.

How do we see Social Media?
Social Media is integral to our business. TrulyMadly was conceived for the NOW youth. It strips the awkwardness off courtship via its ability to record users’ social interests, and restores the faith back into finding matches online via a tightly integrated verification process.
To explain this better, when I create my user profile on TrulyMadly, the system encourages me to connect my Facebook and LinkedIn profiles to increase my search relevance and to award me an improved Trust Score, which increases my chances to meet genuine profiles looking for people like me.

Hitesh, Rahul and I founded TrulyMadly and now we are 8-member-team. We are yet to launch and hence no customer base.
Our biggest challenge was..
We think of TrulyMadly as the pioneer of online matchmaking version 2.0 with increased social relevance and attention to personal choices. Developing the social algorithm and questionnaire to gauge one’s personality and expectation was our biggest challenge.
We were building a logical solution out of human emotions.We interviewed thousands of singles and married people to interpret interpersonal dynamics in a relationship and finally get to the root of what makes 2 people compatible and stick to each other through thick and thin.
All through our research and development, we were mindful of the fact that we were putting a system to match two living, emoting people to find soulmates in each other. It was challenging, refreshing and insightful.

We plan to launch this nationally and the take the product to South East Asia next year.
We’re making moolah by…
TrulyMadly facilitates free user registration, receiving matches and viewing restricted member profile. However, advanced functions like exchanging messages incur a nominal “unlocking” fee of Rs. 100 per profile. Further, users can purchase different credit plans – we currently have 4 plans starting from Rs.1000(100 credits) to Rs.7500 (1000 credits)
