Kejriwal hashtags that took Twitter trolls to a new level


Ever since an independent country emerged, the national political frame had only been dominated by two parties, the Indian National Congress and the extremist right winged ideology Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP). On a strong philosophy of anti-corruption a third party, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) or Common Man’s Party came into existence led by Arvind Kejriwal which revolutionized the political scene of the country.

Turning three years old on November 26, 2015 Aam Aadmi Party has been through a fickle journey. Let’s take a recap on three years of Delhi’s Chief Minister Kejriwal and his Aam Aadmi Party that broke Twitter.

#MufflerMan

The ubiquitous Muffler Man troll has followed Kejriwal for quite some time now, however, now the muffler is not just around his neck but taken Twitter by storm. Post the announcement of Delhi elections, #MufflerMan was trending hot and flooded with tweets.

#AAPSweep

Post the Delhi election results, netizens crowded Twitter with #AAPSweep along with #MufflerMan congratulating the party and the new Chief Minister for their victory.

Buzzooka, the social media watchdog claims that #AAPSweep trended on the top with almost 30k tweets during the first half the day.

#AAPWalksTheTalk

Ideology of anti-corruption gave birth to Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party. With the promise of rooting corruption from the system, Kejriwal fired Delhi’s Food Minister Asim Ahmed Khan on charges of corruption. To express their pleasure towards his gesture #AAPWalksTheTalk was instantly trending on twitter.

#Crocin

Kejriwal mentioned in his speech on the swearing ceremony that after suffering from fever and he had taken a Crocin ,is a pain relieving drug before reaching the venue. As bizarre as it may sound, Twitteratis picked up on #Crocin tp tweet about the ceremony.

#ModiScaredOfArvind

Jitendra Singh Tomar was arrested on grounds of faking his law degree, with his arrest Twitter went abuzz with AAP supporters tweeting #ModiScaredOfArvind to vent their displeasure.

#AAPkaSting

Anti-corruption party had a low moment, when a sting operation revealed Kejriwal using abusive language to his fellow party member Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan. When this news broke, Twitter trended with #AAPkaSting condemning Kejriwal.

 

#WarInAAP

Within a period of three years, the Aam Aadmi Party has been prey to enough drama. Adding to this, Twitter was trending with #WarInAAP when the news for break up in the party got out.

#100liesfakeriwal

100 days completion of Kejriwal government invited sarcastic trolls with Twitter trending #100liesfakeriwal. People missed no opportunity to criticize the AAP government and pull jokes against them.

Arvind Kejriwal became Twitter troll victim once more, with cheeky and extraneous tweets against him. #YoKejriwalSoHonest was picked up quickly by tweeple with hilarious jokes.
