Reliance Jio creates cross platform influencer nexus with #TheFilmFareLYF


An annual night where Filmfare magnets millions of eyes, making it a night of sheer glamour, glitz, glitter and giggles. For the 61st year, Filmfare Awards 2016 got all the bling of Bollywood under one roof kick starting the year by celebrating cinema.

To uplift the enthusiasm of the night, LYF the smartphone device from Reliance participated in Filmfare Award, 2016. LYF shared the excitement of the evening by capturing the Red Carpet moments in the Facebook dome through LYF booth and the rousing updates from inside the NSCI Dome grabbed the attention of the nation.

Social media space sparked up when Twitteratis mentioned #TheFilmFareLYF over 12k times within 5 hours eventually leading #TheFilmFareLyf to trend on Twitter for 5 hours. Tweets were revolving mainly around nominations, award winners, glam of the celebrities and venue.

 

Additionally, employees of Reliance (Jio / Reliance Trends) were being asked on Twitter what channel they were watching the live show taking the engagement to an all new level. . Biggies of the industry like Times Now, Zoom TV, Pinkvilla and more contributed to the social media trend by using this hashtag garnering enough attention to the brand. 

Reliance Jio managed to get celebrities to sample the device at one of jazziest Bollywood events, extending the fervor to social media creating an ultimate influencer outreach effect.
