Reminding us about the memories we share and the celebration of our love for our siblings, brands on social media have been instrumental in rekindling the brother and sister drama; these are the brands that made us think of our annoying yet lovable sibling..

DHL India

Designing their social media campaign around their services, #BehenKaPyaar urged sisters to not let distance hinder their celebration of Raksha Bandhan by sending a Rakhi to their brothers through DHL. Emphasizing on their hashtag #BehenKaPyaar, DHL posted a series of creatives signifying the superiority of a sisters' love over other material things.

Ferrero Rocher

The Italian chocolate manufacturer posted a short video and announced a contest asking users to share a memory they share with their sibling for a chance to win prizes with #PreciousLikeGold.

Amazon India

The online shopping giant formulated a moving video that promoted their service and at the same time encouraged people to #DeliverTheLove.

Amazon also posted a series of GIFs and creative illustrations suggesting brothers to not ponder over 'what to buy' and gift their sister an Amazon Gift Card instead.

The chewing gum brand known for their humour laden advertisement campaigns announced a contest on Twitter, asking users to share the story of when their sisters played a prank on them for a chance to win prizes.

UltraTech Cement

A short video depicting a candid conversation between a brother and a sister about #RealRaksha, it managed to put a social message across to viewers.


On their official Twitter handle, ICICI Bank asked a series of questions to their followers to share their experiences with them using #MyPocketOfHappiness and win prizes.

Paper Boat promoted their Rakhi special gift boxes on their Facebook page by posting a series of creative illustrations depicting the special bond between a brother and a sister.

The flagship jewellery brand from the house of Tata took a slightly different approach and celebrated sisterhood with a video depicting the love between sisters.

A hospitality branch of Taj Group of Hotels from South Asia, The Gateway Hotels posted a short video on their official Facebook page urging brothers to gift their sister a vacation this Raksha Bandhan.

Knorr India

The packaged food brand from Unilever posted a series of creatives on their official Twitter handle and Facebook page asking their followers to share the story of a fight they had with their sibling over food.

The creative illustrations depicted the petty fights and arguments thrown at each other by siblings over sharing delicious food.


Fair and Lovely

Fair and Lovely, a beauty product from the house of Unilever shared an image with their followers wishing them #HappyRakshaBandhan.

Wai Wai Noodles

Wai Wai is a brand of ready to eat noodles that originated in Nepal. Wishing their Indian consumers, the brand posted a GIF on their official Facebook page wishing their followers a Happy Raksha Bandhan.


They took a different approach and promoted Raksha Bandhan with a short video emphasizing the word Raksha and that the people who work hard to make our lives easier should be valued.
