Inkspell acknowledged Digital frontrunners with Drivers of Digital Awards

Inkspell announced the results of the Drivers of Digital Awards 2016 – India Chapter (DOD Awards) on 28 September, 2016. This event was conceptualized with the idea of furtherance of the ongoing digital momentum in India. The DOD Awards also aligns itself with the Government’s visionary programmes like ‘Digital India’ and ‘Start-up India’.

Talking about the stars of the DOD award ceremony, in the Special Award category- Tech Mahindra won the award for Best Digital Enterprise, Vineet Bajpai for Digital Entrepreneur of the Year, Uday Sodhi for Digital Person of the Year while Indus OS won the Digital Startup of the Year award and finally WATConsult received the award for the Digital Agency of the Year.

The next category covered the Digital Marketing Awards, Vero Moda Campaign by WATConsult won the Best Engagement in a Digital Campaign, Reliance #KisseKamyabiKe by Fruitbowl Digital won the Best Digital Integrated Campaign, the Best Digital Marketing Analytics award was won by HCL Technologies, Best Display campaign by CarTrade Campaign by Sociomantic and World TV Premiere of Singh Is Bling by Zee Entertainment, while by Octane – The Biggest Online Travel Sale Campaign won Best Email Marketing Campaign, Myntra Mini Game by Gameloft received the award for Best Engagement in a Mobile Campaign, Sumit Sambhal Lega Interactive Masthead by Star TV got his hands on Best Mobile Marketing Campaign award, the award for the Best Performance-driven Campaign was for Reliance Energy Online Reputation Management by Fruitbowl Digital, Royal Sundaram SEO by iProspect won Best Search Marketing Campaign, Ariel Dads Share the Load by MediaCom for Best Social Media Marketing Campaign, Trumping Donald – A TE-A-ME Intervention by ARM Digital bagged the Best Viral Marketing Campaign while Best Innovation in a Digital Campaign was given to Himalaya MEN IPL Campaign by WATConsult.

The following category was to celebrate Website award and the list was as following, where Best Website – Coupons/Deals/Cashbacks award was won by, Best eCommerce website by a Retail Brand by Titan eStore by Titan Company, Best eCommerce website in a Specialised Category by Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance, Best Website – Educational was given to Da Vinci Learning by ADG Online while Best Website – Entertainment was received by ESPNcricinfo – CRICIQ by ESPN Digital, YES Bank won the Best Website – Financial Services/Banking, Aaj Tak by India Today Group won the Best Website – Local language, Best Website – News content was awarded to by Dainik Bhaskar Digital, Best Online Classified Website was won by IndiaMART, AWATAR by KSRTC received Best Website – Travel and Best Website – Personal Blog/Website was won by ShoutMeLoud by Harsh Agrawal.

The next section covered the Mobile Awards where Best Mobile App – Entertainment was won by SonyLIV App by Prodigitz, Best Mobile App -Financial Services/Banking won by Moneycontrol by, Stemetil VR by Abbott Healthcare received Best Mobile App – Healthcare/Fitness, Karnataka Mobile One by IMI Mobile received Innovative Mobile App, Best Mobile App – Game award was received by Asphalt Airborne by Gameloft, while The Indian Express by IE Online received the Best Mobile App – News, Talentrack by Fameposter Career Services received Best Online Classified Mobile App award and finally IRCTC AIR by IRCTC got the Best Mobile App – Travel award.

The last section covered Digital Financial Awards where YES Bank received the Digital Bank of the Year award, NextGen Telesolutions received Best Digital Payment Facilitator, Best Financial Innovation award was given to Leopard Integrated Tablet POS and microATM by Evolute Systems, whereas  Best Prepaid Card/Product was won by DCB Prepaid Cards by DCB Bank and lastly Pockets by ICICI Bank won the award for Best Digital Wallet.

The objective of the Drivers of Digital Awards was to motivate the agencies and enterprises to continue doing phenomenal work for the uplift of the digital economy in the country. More than 700 Brands, Agencies, and professionals were in competition for the coveted trophy. The ceremony witnessed more than 500 plus professionals from the following industries: Digital marketing, e-Commerce & m-Commerce, Media, FMCG, BFSI, Auto, Electronics, OEMs, Technology and Conglomerates.
