#SheIsMyBro

Pitching in their two cents in the gender equality debate, Dukes India, a biscuits and confectionery manufacturer makes their Twitter debut for Waffy, one of their most popular products with #SheIsMyBro.

Pivoted around the approaching Raksha Bandhan festival, #SheIsMyBro attempts to portray that the festival is not just about brothers, preaching that sisters too are protectors, best friends, and guardian angels to their siblings.

Based out of Hyderabad, India, and a part of Ravi Foods Pvt Ltd., Dukes India appear to be social media novices as their Facebook Page too is sparsely populated with activity since 2012. For their Twitter debut and a social media resurrection of sorts, Dukes India has come out with all guns blazing.

Accompanying the campaign video for #SheIsMyBro, Dukes India has also rolled out a Twitter contest under the same campaign hashtag, for a chance to win a Dukes Waffy Gift Hamper. The contest involves answering a few queries from the brand around the Raksha Bandhan theme.

At 127 followers, and a dozen tweets, Dukes Waffy’s the campaign did well to trend nationwide.
