Blood Normal

Bodyform's latest ad campaign, Blood Normal attempts to create more conversations and break the taboos associated with menstruation.

Contrary to popular belief, women don't bleed blue liquid, but they bleed blood, periods are absolutely normal and there is nothing to hide and feel ashamed of. This is what is shown in Bodyform's latest ad campaign, Blood Normal where the attempt is to create more conversations and break the taboo associated with menstruation.

The ad not only shows blood instead of the blue liquid to talk about periods, but it also shows a menstruating woman and blood trickling down the inside of her legs. According to reports, Bodyform surveyed around 10,000 men and women and found that 74 percent want more 'realistic representation of periods' in ads.

The campaign has garnered appreciation from women around the globe for finally depicting mensuration in its true form as opposed to creating an image that is comfortable to look at.
