Starting today, Instagram is testing recommended posts in Feed, as a new way to see content you may like on the app. The recommendations are based on the people you follow and photos and videos you like.
You’ll see recommended posts at the end of your Feed, once you’ve seen everything new from the people you follow. When you see the “Recommended For You” message, you’ll have the option to view your past posts or keep scrolling for your recommendations. And, if you’re interested in seeing more from the accounts shown in your recommended posts, just tap on the blue button to follow them.

“Instagram’s goal is to make Feed the best place to share and connect with the people and interests that matter most to you. Now with recommended posts, you can see even more of what’s being shared by our community. This test will be rolling out over the next few days,” said Instagram in an official announcement.
The popular photo sharing app aims to make product revisions based on user feedback and bring this to more people in the coming weeks. Recommended posts make one’s feed a less complex wherein it becomes customized for the user and saves time and effort to go to respective profiles it wants to check out.
