Instagram Updates: Random GIFs, Voice messaging, and more

Instagram Updates

Instagram Updates: they are voice messaging feature, a “Random” button to add a GIF to messages and a “Privacy and security help” option in settings.

Social media consultant, Matt Navarra, has posted a series of tweets letting us know about the new features Instagram is planning to add.

The first being, the voice message feature. While other social media platforms like Facebook, WhatsApp and Snapchat have already added this feature, there’s not much creative thought that has been put into this.

The second feature being, a “Random” button to add GIFs to messages. While adding a GIF has been possible for sometime now, the random button lets you search for a GIF basis your mood or need.

The third update is “Privacy and security help” option in settings. As social media has been surrounded with evils that relate to unlawful use of users’ private data and information, Instagram has taken a step that might help prevent it and give the user a choice to control it at their end.

In a recent announcement, Instagram Co-Founder & CTO, Mike Krieger shared  a new update – a new authenticity and Instagram verification process.
