Funny Commercials. That would be the short answer. M&M's, the colorful button-shaped chocolates have created a fan base of their own in the candyland of marketing with their rib-tickling commercials.

By starting off with a concept to candy-coat chocolates, so soldiers can carry it through warm climates without having it melt, to producing more than 400 million individual M&M's every day in the United States and providing in more than 100 countries worldwide, M&M's - the journey has been dramatic, to say the least.

According to a report on Statista M&M's was the top-ranked chocolate candy brand in the United States with $688.7 million worth of sales in 2017 and M&M's Marketing Strategy has played an integral role in it.

From starting with the tagline "Melts in your mouth, not in your hand" and making it their prominent USP till humanizing the candies and presenting them in amusing narratives, the M's trotted a long way since 1941 to 2019.

Be it the 1996 classic, Faint or the dark humour of Switch, these M's never failed to tickle your funny bone. From featuring Danny DeVito to collaborating with the X-Men, these M's are all over the place.
