The rains may not have washed away the pain, but the light of love has formed an arch of Pride Campaigns that embrace all individuals and all shades of endearment.
Pride has brought brands together to fill the atmosphere with a band of colorful campaigns during the dark times that celebrate not conforming to norms and barriers.
Tinder launched a music video as their campaign, with the song composed by Ritiviz and video created by Jugaad Motion Pictures. The video features people from across the community celebrating ‘Pride From Home’.
The team at Jugaad Motion Pictures mention, “Going into this project, we knew it was going to be an immense challenge. To find real people from the community, to arrange cinematographers in their city, to conduct a virtual pan-India production from our homes! But fortunately, we were blessed with a super understanding and accommodating cast, who made daunting tasks a lot easier”.
OkCupid launched the campaign #AllyOfLove, a digital film conceptualized by Dentsu WebChutney, to strengthen the support for the community from home.
Commenting further on the campaign, Siddhi Desai, Senior Creative Director, Dentsu Webchutney says, “At a time when everyone could do with a little extra support, minority communities could do with a whole lot more – and that’s exactly what #AllyOfLove calls for.
Phool Versha Foundation, a charitable organization in association with MullenLowe Lintas Group launched the campaign ‘Differences Make Us Who We Are’, produced by Chrome Pictures and scripted by Azazul Haque, CCO, Mullen Lintas.
The campaign focusses on the hardships of the Transgender Community, who have been severely hit by this humanitarian crisis. The community has always been marginalized, and due to lack of employment and acceptance, they have had to often resort to jobs such as being a sex worker, their struggles continue to grow with the pandemic.
Proud to be Me by Titan, created by Ogilvy Bangalore, written by Divya Bhatia, and directed by Jahaan Noble, and featuring Kumar Iyer portrays the nuances of gender-fluidity, and how one can be what they feel.
More brands celebrate love, people, and Pride with pride.
