While eagerly looking forward to going back to his ‘work from office’ desk, Himanshu Wahi is grateful for the WFH phase to help him get more organized.
When it all started, no one was aware that people will have to stay at home for this long, and Himanshu Wahi too was a bit anxious as to how we all would go on with the daily jobs. Episode 3 of WFH Diaries Leaders of Tomorrow edition featuring Himanshu Wahi, Account Manager, Dentsu Impact takes you through his WFH routine.
According to Wahi, overtime, work from home has emerged as a viable alternative that doesn’t feel like a bad option. He quips, “What has really helped during the lockdown is keeping myself organized although I do miss the energy of working in the office and I’m actually looking forward to going back”.
Work from home demands a new way of working especially for those in advertising. “You remember the daily dose of chit chat with colleagues.. I’m sure you miss them. But what you get now is your time with family and your closed ones,” says Wahi.
For him, multiple client meetings and long working hours are now clubbed with work that didn’t shake hands earlier. He also thinks that what really helps is when people around you are empathetic and acts as a good support system.
“I’m glad that I have them on my team. Now when I look back at the past 3 to 4 months, I am happy with what I have been able to do with my time,” exclaims Wahi.
Life for him has evolved in more ways than it did before the lockdown. Thanks to the zero travel time. He has been able to delve into things that were in his to-do list but never got the time to do so.
