About the Platform was launched with a vision to transform the digital marketing landscape by placing power in the hands of brands and influencers. Bringing discovery, management, and performance analytics to one platform, helps brands identify and partner with more relevant influencers. The tech-led platform empowers brands and influencers to build their network, build their clan. was founded by - filmmaker Anshai Lal, Sagar Pushp, former head of digital media at Cheil India, and Kunal Kishore Sinha, co-founder of PR and communications firm Value 360 Communications.

Whom do we cater to?

Primarily, helps brands identify and partner with more relevant influencers. Simply put, it empowers brands and influencers to build their network, build their clan.

What do we offer to our consumers?

We help brands scale their influencer marketing efforts in 3 ways.  First, we take the guesswork out of the process of choosing the right influencers and allow brands to make decisions based on data-driven insights.

Secondly, the platform gives a set of recommendations to brands to help them derive maximum ROI from their influencer marketing campaigns. It can help brands discover influencers who will have the right impact, essentially picking the needle out of the vast haystack of influencers out there today.

Finally, technologically advanced influencer management platforms also help brands manage multiple influencer campaigns by consolidating all the information on one user-friendly platform. Therefore, it can revolutionize and simplify the entire influencer marketing space with targeted and effective solutions.

What motivated us to start up?

Once we decided to launch a product in the influencer marketing space, we spent the next few months researching the vast and burgeoning sector. We found that the space has infinite potential but is hindered by the fact that it is largely unorganized. We realized that a lot of influencer marketing activity is largely based on guesswork. Brands are willing to invest in influencers but they don’t have the requisite tools to choose the right one. Since these decisions are taken manually, brands keep choosing the same influencers and end up limiting their impact.

Therefore, we introduced an AI-led platform that can take the guesswork out of the process and allow brands to get the most out of their influencer campaigns. Apart from this, the platform gives a set of recommendations to brands to help them derive maximum ROI from their influencer marketing campaigns.

What's in a name?

We are creating a new community that did not exist earlier. We are reaching out to all the people who are passionate about creating content and connecting them with the right brands. After looking at multiple options to describe this community or group in one word, we all came to love ‘Clan’. Our venture offers the element of connection and we aim to create a platform for them to stay connected and learn from each other, so it could be nothing better than ‘ClanConnect’.

Currently we are....

We are currently working with 10-15 brands including Oriflame, Toppr, Coinswitch, Godrej, Cinthol, GoodKnight, and more. We achieved our target of reaching INR 1 crore in terms of business in the first 30 days of operations. Now, we are targeting to manage influencer marketing campaigns worth INR 500 crore by March 2022. Further, we also raised substantial funding through our seed round of INR 5 crores. The funding round was led by Venture Catalysts along with several marquee entrepreneurs, including Samrath Bedi, Managing Director of Forest Essentials; Sandeep Aggarwal of; Aakrit Vaish, Co-Founder of Haptik; and Haresh Hingorani, Chief Creative Officer of Redchillies VFX.

Today, every influencer has a long digital footprint that comprises rich data that can be leveraged to understand their reach, engagement, follower quality, audience demographics, etc. ClanConnect’s proprietary AI-enabled tool analyses these factors to offer the right recommendations to brands. 

Thus, is an excellent platform to match brands to the most suitable influencers through data-driven insights so brands can gain maximum ROI from their digital marketing efforts.

Moreover, our overarching goal is to provide the right direction to the industry. We are working to simplify the entire process of interaction between influencers and brands. For this, we are using forward-looking technologies including machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data analytics, and more.

We do not charge influencers since we aim to empower them and create micro digital entrepreneurs. In fact, we aim to enable half a million micro digital entrepreneurs with our tech-led services by 2023. For brands, we have a monthly recurring revenue which is like a monthly license that most SaaS companies offer. We also have a commission-based model wherein we charge a percentage commission for every influencer event that a brand carries out. 

Our What The **** Moment

It was quite the faux-pas. A notable brand posted an update about ‘earth-shattering’ deals right after a serious earthquake in Nepal. They received a lot of flak for the move.

Industry as we foresee

This is a high-potential sector that is valued at $10 billion and is poised to grow by 250% to reach $25 billion in less than 5 years. With ClanConnect, we aim to organize this largely unorganized, dynamic sector. We believe the industry is ripe with opportunities for brands, creators, and aggregators.
