New Update
Twitter Data Governance

Twitter has announced the establishment of a new Data Governance Committee to bolster privacy and security measures on the platform, along with updates on the internal processes, teams, and infrastructure.

Twitter Data Governance Committee

The internal Data Governance Committee will be responsible for overseeing decisions and policies related to how Twitter uses and protects user data. Twitter mentions the Committee will oversee all decisions to "collect, maintain, use, disclose, or provide access to customer data internally".

Updates or changes to privacy policies and resolutions and verdicts on the use of user data would be required to be reviewed and approved by the committee. Maintaining consistency and balance in the use and protection of user data and adherence to the policies by the Twitter teams are a few of the key objectives of the committee.
