Brands take Notes on Instagram with creatives

Brands joined in on the conversation around Instagram Notes – a new feature by the app – with creatives.

A new feature called Instagram Notes was unveiled recently and it enables users to write short notes with a 60-character limit. The Note will be visible to the followers in their direct message section. Like Instagram stories, they will disappear after 24 hours. The answers to a user’s note will also be visible as a DM for a user. With the launch of the feature also came creatives by brands.

This feature makes it simple to start a conversation or make an announcement. However, users are unable to keep track of a note’s views. Notes will be available post installing the most recent app updates released by Instagram.

Instagram Notes feature has gotten mixed reviews. Many memes around the feature have been doing rounds on social media, since the official release. Brands, however, were seen riding the wave with creatives.

Fevikwik went ahead with ‘Phenko nahi jodo’, while Fresh to Home used ‘chicken wings’ audio lyrics as their notes. Hershey’s hit the right note with chocolate references.
