We at Social Samosa are all set to celebrate the success of Human Brands in bringing about the pivotal growth and maturity in a fairly new industry. Conceptualised with the thought of promoting best practices benchmarking in the industry, #BestSoMeBrands will facilitate a platform to adjudge a brand’s performance amongst peers on a relative scale.
Brands can nominate themselves across Automobile, Cement, B2B, Beauty, BFSI, eCommerce, Education, FMCG, Food & Beverage, Healthcare, Media, Real Estate, Retail, Tourism & Hospitality, Technology, and Telecom categories.
Best Social Media Brands – #BestSoMeBrands has garnered a number of entries across each category etching towards an intensifying competition. With entries still pouring in, Social Samosa has extended the last day of Nominations to January 22, 2017.
Work done by each of these entries will be dissected and examined, with our esteemed jury members judging them against pre-decided parameters.
On this note, we would like to introduce you to our revered Jury Panel. Introducing, Ashish Bhasin Chairman & CEO South Asia Dentsu Aegis Network, Chairman Posterscope and MKTG Asia Pacific as Best Social Media Brand’s Jury Chair. Bhasin will guide the Social Samosa and the jury to ensure the best results.
Next on the panel is, Ambi Parameswaran, Founder – Brand-Building.com & Author of Nawabs Nudes Noodles. Ambi has served as VP, then as CEO of FCB Ulka from 2003 to 2013, and as Advisor before moving out to set his own Brand Advisory unit Brand-Building.com. Ambi now has seven books to his credit.
Roshan Abbas, Managing Director at Geometry Global Encompass Network is the next on the jury panel. He has spent two decades in the marketing industry across mediums including, Radio, TV, Theatre, Events & BTL.
The next person to be gracing the jury panel is Karl Gomes, Chief Fanatic, Fanatics. Gomes carries experience across domains in his kitty. He has worked with several agencies including, Digital at Rediffusion YR, Arc Worldwide / Leo Burnett, and Tribal DDB India.
Ranjini Ramachandran, is the Client Development Director for Unmetric, a social media analytics platform for your owned and competitive analytics. She believes that social media can be a force for good and that brands can make a meaningful impact on society.
Manish Bhatt, Founder & Director, Scarecrow Communications will lend his creative dimension to the jury. His agency is the only Indian agency to be featured in TOP 16 – THE WORLD’S LEADING INDEPENDENT AGENCIES 2015.
Carlton D’Silva, CEO & CCO, Hungama Digital Services – brings a new age digital vibe to the panel. He joined Hungama in 1999 and since then has won innumerable accolades for the company, such as the PMAA’s, Abby’s and The Globes.
Lata Subramanian, Brand Curator, Author of A Dance with the Corporate Ton: Reflections of a Worker Ant is an integram part of the BSMB jury. Prior to this she headed marketing in Sterling Holidays and holds immense experience in this space.
Delna Avari, a brand Consultant and Mentor has worked across the sub-continents of India, Europe, United States and ASEAN managing relationships with over 12 nationalities. Her sharp communication skills add a whole new perspective to the jury panel.
And the final member on the jury panel – Dheeraj Sinha, Chief Strategy Officer – South Asia, Leo Burnett. Sinha leads the strategic planning function for Leo Burnett in South Asia. He has worked in advertising for over 17 years across McCann Erickson, Euro RSCG, Bates, Grey and now Leo Burnett. He is the author of a highly-acclaimed book ‘Consumer India – Inside the Indian Mind and Wallet.’
