The men who protect the valley and our skies, and look forward to nothing in return, had a pleasant surprise in store for them this Raksha Bandhan as GoAir planned a wonderfully noble gesture for our watchful protectors.
One of India’s leading domestic carriers, GoAir, understands how crucial security is towards fulfilling their promise to their passengers, and in the Jammu and Kashmir region, where security is paramount, the CRPF jawans are the ones who make it possible.
On the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan, GoAir surprised the CRPF Jawans at the Jammu and Kashmir valley with a heartwarming gesture, extended towards them on behalf of the entire nation. GoAir’s cabin crew made sure our Jawaans would miss no part of the home as they undertook their duties, by tying Rakhis and reiterating the promise of Rakshabadhan of the bond between brother and sister where he vows to protect her.

The silent guardians of every flight that lands and takes off from Defense airports like Srinagar, the CRPF Jawans were moved by this surprisingly thoughtful and kind hearted deed.
GoAir expressed their gratitude and appreciates our brothers who keep our skies safe at such airports. As the Jammu and Kashmir region is a sensitive and high-security area, the safety and smooth passage of every civilian aircraft is the top priority for our brothers, who give their all, day and night, to us and our safety.
It is great to see brands pushing the envelope and undertaking thoughtful gestures that give our Jawans the feeling of a home away from home!
