Instagram testing ‘account verification’ option for all users
Always longed for a blue tick for your Instagram account? The latest internal development of the Facebook owned app states that now any user can apply for Instagram account verification following certain steps.
Instagram account verification is under testing and made available for iPhone users for now in countries like Australia and a few more. But the company asserted of soon providing Android users the option to do the same in a couple of weeks time.

In the Settings category of the app, Request Verification option appears in the list. You can click on it and take on from that. To qualify for getting the blue tick, you need to provide your account information and a copy of your valid ID.
While a few would pay lakhs to get their account verified, others would just wait for their accounts to meet the criteria to adorn the blue checkmark. Now with the latest update a uniform process will have to be followed by all, which is just so appropriate.
