Who are we?
Boom Man Studios, a digital storytelling & ad film production house, creates ad content with a qualitative and aesthetic production value for the digital ad space. From the conceptualization of an idea to its scripting, production, and post-production, the studio specializes in fashioning creative content in the form of storytelling. Boom Man Studios offers various services to cater to all film-making requirements for digital advertisements, branded original content and promotional graphics.
Run by three partners, Nishant Rana, Jasmine Chabria and Shivendu Kudalkar, Boom Man studios has grown by leaps and bounds under the strong leadership of this young and energetic trio. It is a successful young company, where youth is embodied in substance, as the oldest founder is twenty seven years of age, and spirit, where an energetic and ambitious outlook is the norm. They believe in keeping their creatives intact, instead of outsourcing. Each of the three partner specialises in one of the creative roles, Nishant directs the ads, Shivendu is also a Director of Photography & Jasmine writes for ads & fiction; in addition to solely being producers.
What’s in the name?
The word ‘Boom’ travels from the time of the Big Bang : the prevailing cosmological model for the universe. It signifies the creation of something impactful & aesthetic, akin to the universe. Visual content in the form of ads are simply that.
Our branding & theme across all verticals is galactic in nature, which resonates with the idea of being limitless with our ideas & offerings just as the universe is limitless. Hence, it was only apt to give this vision of ours a name like ‘Boom Man Studios’.

Why we do it?
The idea to seamlessly put together a story – scene by scene- along with an amalgamation of several departments (cinematography, direction, art, costumes, production etc) drives us daily.

How we evolve?
Evolution comes with the thought to outdo our own ads, one by one. The next ad needs to rank higher in story communication, aesthetic appeal, production value. To achieve this, we make conscious efforts to work with more & more talent in the industry. our skills.
As our partner base is a director, cinematographer & a writer, we ourselves are enrolled in portals that can only hone our skills.
Evolution also happens by passing on data to newer generations. We do curate & teach the subject of filmmaking in some Mumbai colleges, film schools on certain weekends.
Need of the hour
Crew well-being & safety is a practice that needs to be stringently enforced. Better on-set facilities for all crew member & not solely head of departments is something that needs to be maintained by all.
We learned the hard way
Everyday is a new learning, be it at day 1 or year 3. Hard or Easy, is just the nature of the task. By the end of it, all you need is three things : ‘patience’, ‘hardwork’ & ‘both of them’ even if things seem to be sinking.
Did we just share that?
Top notch reference films with budgets that may only be able to support butterscotch. But nonetheless, it’s cute!
