YouTube Premium offers ad-free videos and their squad of supreme series and YouTube Music is a music streaming platform similar to Spotify but with more prominence given to music videos.
YouTube has recently announced tests of showing two ads back-to-back at the start of the video. The discounted rates might at least nudge students to sign up for Premium.
YouTube is a diverse community of creators and is a platform where people turn to each other for knowledge and creativity, YouTube Music on the other hand is a simple music streaming and downloading app, so irrespective of discounted or not, monthly fees is enough to not invite users while there’s Spotify and other free music apps.
