Wavemaker MESH – the real-time marketing command center released an IPL 2019 social media listening report including insights from 23rd March to 16th April 2019.
The analysis has been done by Wavemaker and the social conversations measure the impact of IPL 2019 in the India region. The report revealed that IPL 2019 has already created more buzz than the entire IPL 2017 season and the buzz increased whenever CSK or RCB playeD.
While CSK has emerged as buzziest Team this IPL season, they are also holding the number 1 spot on ranking this season.
Sans doubt, RCB’s captain, Virat Kohli, was the most mentioned player followed by CSK captain MS Dhoni. Three players from CSK appeared in the social player leaderboard.

One of the key highlights was also that Vodafone’s content featuring Zoozoos was the most loved (in terms of Likes and Shares).
