Snapchat is testing a new UI for Snap Map which would allow you to check-into locations by using a Bitmoji character and a passport which helps you keep a track of all the places you've been.
Status would allow you to share where you are and what you're upto, only visible to your friends you share your location with. Status will allow your friends to see where you are and what you're upto at any point in time. And the bitmoji character you use would represent what you're upto.
Passport, would help you keep a track of the places you've been to, just like the usual passport.

The places you set as your status will be added to your passport along with who you were with. Your passport can only be accessed by you and you can delete a place from your passport at any time.
Additionally, Snapchat is also testing a mention Sticker, allowing you to mention your friend in a Story.
