Here is a list of some of the best Cricket World Cup Campaigns over the years.

The time when all of the 29 states and 7 union territories unite as one to support something bigger than their state boundaries is almost here. The ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 is about to commence at England & Wales, from 30 May and soon it would become the theme of adverts we would see on television and all social media platforms.

As MS Dhoni once said, "One thing about our country that is constant is cricket." A statement that is very true, as over the years the religious fanbase of this sport has only grown. And, the increasing number of brand sponsorers, endorsers, promoters and campaigns themed around the esteemed event, seem to agree.

ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 was the third largest international sporting event ever, in terms of digital reach. The ICC CWC 2015 received 57.5 billion social media impressions.

Further, the 2015 Cricket World Cup was estimated to have been watched by over 1.5 billion people and the most widely watched match being, (no points for guessing) India v/s Pakistan with an estimated of over 1 billion viewers. The India v/s Pakistan match in Adelaide was the most talked about match in digital history, according to reports.

The esteeemed event benefits the economy of the whole ecosystem along with the brands whose adverts have been slotted in the showcase during the telecast. In fact, the ICC World Cup 2015 held in Australia had a positive impact on the country's economy with increased visitors, 100k being from overseas, according to Tourism Australia.

Digital Media had been an important source of exposure for the whole community, with 1.4 billion live views of tweets relating to the tournament, 700 million interactions about the ICC CWC 2015 on Facebook, and 5.8 million Likes for the Tournament Facebook page. There were almost 3.5 million ICC CWC Twitter followers.

ICC CWC 2015 observed a television audience of a potential viewership of 2.51 billion worldwide, making it one of the most watched sporting events in history. The final also broke the television record for a cricket match in Australia or New Zealand, peaking at 4.22 million viewers in Australia and almost two million in New Zealand.
