The sequel to the 2018 blockbuster Black Panther, Wakanda Forever finally made it to the big screens this week. This much-anticipated movie was not only on every Marvel head’s watch list but brands were eagerly waiting for the movie to drop in the theatres as well. This excitement was reflected in Wakanda brand creatives.
The movie which looks like a tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman and his legacy as the King continues to follow their slogan ‘Wakanda Forever’. With the release, Indian brands took this motto forward and engaged with the audience by creating brand creatives that showcased their version of ‘forever’. Some brands curated memes while some touched on sentiments and emotions.
Pizza Hut reminded the audience how they were ready to ‘dig into their forever favourite’. While on the other hand, Nykaa and cult.fit chose to take the humourous route and create relatable memes. Many other brands rode the Black Panther bandwagon and participated in this moment marketing trend.
