Every year on the second Sunday of May, mother’s day is celebrated by citizens and brands alike. Right from highlighting the scarifies made by a mother to respecting the role of a single father in the upbringing of the child, every theme is exploited to give a visual treat to the audiences.
Of course, the better the visuals, the more are the chances that they will start a conversation online. We told you about the Best Mother’s Day campaigns of all times last year. However, brands being brands, we couldn’t stop ourselves from spotting more of these, adding to the list.
Integrating the essence of mother’s day with the brand’s identity to #GoBeyondLimits, JK Tyre produced a simple campaign, with a common message of showing the patience and loving nature of an Indian mother.
After roping in Deepika Padukone for a 2015 advertisement along the same lines, Tanishq went a step ahead in 2017, zeroing on the nuances of an Indian mother to scold her daughter for spending the bonus to buy a gift, saying #ForYouMom.

Though not categorised as a mother’s day campaign, #TogetherOnline came out in May 2015 with a strong undertone of similar sentiments as the brand introduced its idea to encourage people to help women, especially mothers, get online.
A mother is often depicted as a caregiver whose life revolves around her child. Discovery Kids took the concept further from the perspective of a little child, expressing love for his mother, reiterating, thanking, wishing her in Braille, for her love surpasses all barriers and #HerWorldIsYou.
The good upbringing of a son is an important task to create an equitable tomorrow. Star Plus highlighted the same with #MadeByMom.
In a masterstroke, the channel took the campaign to the next level in partnership with other brands. Here, the cricketers wore jerseys with their mother’s names on their backs.

On marriage, one enters a new relationship with all the family members of their spouse. Godrej Expert showcased the feelings of a daughter-in-law for her mother-in-law, highlighting how mother’s day is #ForAll Moms.
Focusing on the role of a single father being both parents for a child, Nissan celebrated the #SpiritOfMotherhood in 2017 with this campaign.
Focusing on the aspect of how a mother is one who can give her child something she didn’t have herself, Horlicks did wonderful work around #LoveYouMaa, thanking moms for their unconditional love.
